An inflatable wedge and long reach tool at the top corner of a car door

Published before we drive, not after

From $55–$129 per opening. Most vehicles open in minutes without damage. Some European models take longer.

That is a starting range. The top of it can move, and the final figure depends on the lock, the door and what the technician finds on site. On the large majority of jobs we land inside the published range, and the number is confirmed with you before any work begins. Prices run a few dollars higher in the outer-ring cities — that is drive time, nothing else, and each city page shows its own figure.

What happens when we arrive

  1. Make, model and year confirmed — that decides the method
  2. Wedge and long-reach tool, or lock bypass, depending on the vehicle
  3. No damage to weatherstrip, paint or glass in the large majority of jobs
  4. Doors tested before we leave

Typically 5–15 minutes on most vehicles.

What to have ready

Photo ID and proof the car is yours — registration, insurance card, or the app that pairs to it.

When this is the wrong call

If the key is locked in and the car is running, or a child or pet is inside, call 911 first. Then call us.

What people ask before booking

There's a child or a pet locked in the car. What do I do?

Call 911 immediately. In Texas heat a vehicle interior becomes dangerous within minutes, and emergency services will get the door open faster than any locksmith can drive to you. Call us afterwards for the key.

Will opening the door damage my car?

Not with proper automotive tools. Wedges and long-reach tools open modern vehicles without marking the paint or weatherstrip. Damage happens when people use coat hangers and screwdrivers first.
