An encrypted European car key beside a professional programming device

Published before we drive, not after

From $299–$725 per key. Immobiliser generation. A few recent builds need a dealer security link and we tell you before you commit.

That is a starting range. The top of it can move, and the final figure depends on the lock, the door and what the technician finds on site. On the large majority of jobs we land inside the published range, and the number is confirmed with you before any work begins. Prices run a few dollars higher in the outer-ring cities — that is drive time, nothing else, and each city page shows its own figure.

When this is the wrong call

A handful of recent BMW, Mercedes and Audi builds require a dealer-only security handshake. We check that first and say so before you commit.

What people ask before booking

Are there vehicles you can't make a key for?

Yes, and we'll tell you before you pay a call-out. Some very recent European models and a handful of high-security systems can only be done through a franchised dealer. Anyone who claims they can do every vehicle is guessing with your money.
