An open gun safe showing its bolt array, with anchor bolts and a torque wrench in front

Published before we drive, not after

From $99–$479 per safe. Opening, servicing or relocating. Heavier boltwork than a domestic safe.

That is a starting range. The top of it can move, and the final figure depends on the lock, the door and what the technician finds on site. On the large majority of jobs we land inside the published range, and the number is confirmed with you before any work begins. Prices run a few dollars higher in the outer-ring cities — that is drive time, nothing else, and each city page shows its own figure.

Included on every visit

  • Opened when the combination or keypad fails
  • Moved and anchored, including upstairs
  • Lock upgrades and dehumidifier fitting
  • Proof of ownership required

What happens when we arrive

  1. Lock type identified: mechanical dial, electronic keypad or biometric
  2. Opened, serviced or moved per the job
  3. Bolt work and relockers checked, since these safes are heavier and less forgiving
  4. Anchoring inspected — an unanchored gun safe is a liability

Typically Varies by job — opening, service or relocation.

What to have ready

Photo ID and proof of ownership. Firearms should be secured elsewhere while we work.

When this is the wrong call

We service and open safes. We are not a dealer and do not sell them.

What people ask before booking

Can you open a gun safe if I've lost the combination?

Yes, with proof of ownership. Most can be opened with no damage; the rest are drilled in a controlled spot and repaired the same visit so the safe stays fully usable.
